Randi Saulter is a wonderful teacher. Although she juggles 2 1/2 full time jobs and a family, she really does a good job and devotes as much time as she can to her students. As a person, she is incredible. She is very motivated and enthusiastic about helping as many people as she can, even though that infringes greatly on her personally. Lectures are fun because her great sense of humor shines through. She fills the class with interesting projects and papers that really help us to understand those who suffer from speech and hearing disorders. Even though I'm not a CD major, I really enjoyed taking this class for my own benefit, because I learned so much about this interesting subject which a year ago I never even knew existed. I'm walking away from this class a better and more enriched person. Randi is a great teacher to be able to add to the enrichment of such a vast mixture of students, some who already know everything in the subject and those like myself that know absolutely nothing. It was very awkward to have graduate students in the class with us beginners, but it was nice, too, because they were all very willing to help us out when we had questions. Randi deserves a great deal of admiration and respect for managing such a diverse class without going way over the heads of some and without wasting the time of the grad students.
