Jay R. Schrock

Professor Schrock's resume must look impressive but he lacks teaching skills in this class, HM 100. He probably just doesn't care about this introductory class. He is unorganized and never seems to be prepared for class and is often forgetful.

In a class full of international students, he puts students on the spot. Half of these international student cannot understand his question and is utterly teriffied of him.

Also, his tests are weird. On the class before the test, he goes over the actual questions on the test. If there is enough time, he'll go through every question and the answer on the test, so all you need to do is write super fast or better yet, have a tape recorder. I think he feels guilty for not going over the material well in his previous classes, so he gives out the answers.

Overall, I did not learn a single thing from him. I had to do all my learning from reading the book. I would recommend to take another teacher, but ... unfortunately he's the only one teaching.
