Another teacher that needs to retire! If you can handle 3 hours of drowning nonsence then this class is for you! If not then wait till next semester to take 301 or 500- He only teaches in the fall.
He is a nice guy but not a good teacher. He gives you formulas and homework that have nothing to do with what you are tested on. All tests are written and no math is needed- at least in 300.

Obviously, Schweitzer is not qualified for a professor. His lectures were so very boring! I could not wait to leave after the first 10 minutes of his 3 hour class! He is also a stubborn teacher with dull teaching style. Anyway, if you were a bookworm, you could just go ahead and take his class!

This prof. is a good teacher. He is very nice and understanding...although his lecture are very boring and he can stray from the material at hand his exams are predictable and fair. The only bad point about his class is HOMEWORK......!!!!! on a weekly basis. If he drops the assignments his class is a plus.

Prof. Schweitzer is a nice guy, but an extremely poor lecturer.
Avoid him if you can.
He manages to make relatively simple and very interesting material complex and dull by aimlessly throwing formulas on the board. Tests are fair and predictable. Problem sets are easy but completely irrelevant to everything else in the course.
