Had to drop her class and took Hendrix (got a A!). If this is the only class you are taking at SFSU and have the time to put into group work and can afford to not get an A grade, Take her. Professor Scott is all over the place with her 5 page syallbus. She is not organized and her test are VERY difficult even if you read the book over and over. She favors talkative guys and if you are not one, you will get a C-.
One good thing about the class is that you become a better presenter. You will have tons of practice presenting and getting critique in front of class.

Professor Scott is the first instructor that actually challenged the hell out of me. I transferred from Cal State Bakersfield and easily received A's with minimal effort. Professor Scott is nonconventional, so if you are the type of student who doesn't want to work hard, don't take her class. Professor Scott promotes thinking outside of the box and encourages you to think like an executive or professional working in the real world. Her credentials and past work does show in her teaching style. She gives you minimal direction and expect you to act like a student who is willing to take responsibility for your learning.

If you can take another class, please take it. DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS!!! Her grading system is extremely weird. It is based on continuous improvement! What the hell does that mean? Most of the classwork is based on group project and my team have done everything to fullfil her A requirement and that includes creative presentation, CAPSIM improvement, speaks up in class, turned in all extra credits, and so on. Apparently, ALL OF THE HARD WORK WERE JUST A WASTE OF TIME. Neither one of my group members got an A. Furthermore, she didn't really explain anything in class. Most of the lectures were just asking and answering questions!!!!!! By the way, she is very stubborn too.
