Professor Ta is very knowledgeable and great at getting her points across. She's one of the few AAS/ETHS teachers that actually provide relevant and very informative lectures. Her projects are long, but you learn a great deal from them. Her tests are difficult if you don't go to class and read the assigned readings. Sometimes they go into specifics. But overall she's very kind and this class is worth-taking. The only thing I found disagreeable was her reading selections...sometimes impossible to understand without the proper guidance. Other than that she's cool.

Professor Ta is very knowledgeable on the topic. Her class was very easy going and not hard to follow. The workload consisted of about 6 or 7 essay quizzes depending on time constraints and a group project(topic of your choice relating to the course). The group project was due at the end of the semester and was to be presented in about a 20 minute oral presentation. Along with the presentation is a group 10 page research paper which is not too difficult. She is very approachable and willing to help a student. Overall, I learned tons from Professor Ta and would definitely take a class by her again.

Last semester, before taking AAS 375, I had the assumption that the class would be not worth taking and would be very boring. However, Professor Ta actually made it very interesting and fun! She has a great personality and is very helpful. She tries really hard to get to know all of her students which is kinda nice. She seems to really care about her students. How many professor at SFSU really do this? Not to many! Her lectures are very informative and fun. The overall class work load isn't that much. You just have a couple of homework assignments (not hard at all!), and some reading assignments to do, mostly in a small reader and one short book. It's not that much. Keep up on the reading and you'll do just fine! 1 midterm and no final exam! Oh yeah one 10 page paper and an art collage. The paper isn't that bad and doing the collage was really fun! Not being a design or art major it was a really cool project. The funnist one i have ever done! In all, this was a really fun class and I would love to take another class that Professor Ta is teaching!

I would definitely have to say that Ta is one of the most EASIEST teachers. She doesn't assign much homework and only gives out about 2-3 exams that aren't hard. All you have to do is do the readings she assigns but sometimes, it doesn't even matter if you do the readings or not! How amazing is that! And to top it off, instead of having each person in class write a 10 page term paper, she has us form into groups and we all write it together! Can her class get much easier?! I'd have to say however, that Ta is a bit biased, especially in her lectures (you'll just have to see, if you take her) THere were times when she'd try to make jokes that weren't even funny, but others thought she was funny. Overall, Ta is a pretty OK teacher and very easy! SHe gave me an A-! COOL!

Professor Ta is such the greatest professor that I have ever had. She cares a lot for her students not only in class but also whenever you need her. She is a friendly and wonderful teacher in San Francisco State. Whatever class that she teaches, there is no complain from students. She is just GREAT!

She is biased. She is a great lecturer though. She loves the subject and I agree with one other reviewer that she has a way of painting pictures in student's imaginations. I came to class because I wanted to learn (very odd), and even though there were no difficult assignments that usually are supposed to "help" you learn, there were none and you do learn. She has a great way of turning history into something NOW. You will find yourself not looking at your watch because time just flies, even at 8am in the morning.

Ta is a nice and good professor who tries to help everyone learn about the different asian cultures. Her lectures are clear and concise and also very interesting, unlike many other professors who often repeats on what is written in the text book. She gives a midterm, a group project and a final paper. Her assignment explanations can sometimes be unclear though. But overall, her class was fun and interesting.

Ms. Ta is a very good teacher who knows her subject well. I don't know why a student gave her a review of a F. Maybe he had something against her. Anway, I agree with all the (A) reviews the students gave her.

Professor Ta is such a GREAT teacher that I have ever had. I took one of her classes at CCSF and really enjoyed her teaching. Now I'm taking ASS370 and I agree that the only grade that you can give her is an A+. She is a very wonderful person, try her class, you will see what I write here is true. Professor Minh Hoa Ta is the most honorable teacher. She loves her subject and stimulates her students to the subject. Her class is interesting and funny, too. She can be classifed as a highly competent teacher, demonstrate expertise in classroom and highly skilled in interpersonal relationship with students. She has her own way of painting pictures in students' imaginations and making the material come alive to student. Take her class and I'm sure that you absolutely will have a greating learning there.

She is a GREAT teacher! Very nice and caring. It is almost impossible to fail this class. She doesn't demand a lot and she grades fairly easy. There is only 5 easy quiz and one EASY project for the whole semester! Her lectures were very informing and and a pleasure to listen to. I enjoy going to Proffesor Ta's class even though it was 8am in the morning. It's hard to describle how good this teacher is in writing....just do yourself a favor and take her class in person. You won't regret it, I know I didn't! Keep up the good work Ms. Ta. Your class was a pleasure to attend.

I was appalled by the reviewer who gave Ms. Ta an F. I can guarantee for a fact that she is in the top 10 of student friendly professors. She tries to make her assignments worth the students time. She's not the easiest but certainly not the hardest and even if u were having problems her door is always open. Trust me this is a professor that cares.

I took this class several semester ago. She is the best Vietnamese teacher I have ever taken. She speaks from the heart, knows what she is talking about and communicate what she wants from us. She is one of those rare professor who gives a dam about us as students. The person who gave her an "F" is biased, spiteful, and don't give a dam about anybody but themselves.

Ms. Ta is absolutely a perfect example of a good teacher. Her lectures are informative and interesting. In order to receive a course grade of an A, you will have to do what she instructs...take notes, listen, and read. She's extremely nice, and can get you laughing everyday. I enjoyed everything about this class, and the teacher made it a great experience for me.

This instructure is very nice and funny person. She goes to the point that you would need to study for the quiz and the final. Her lectures are very interesting. You would never fall asleep. She gives out extra credits too. You just need to volunteer one day. However, you need to do the readings that she ask you to do. Because it would be on your midterm. But don't worry it is very easy.
