Maggie Thomas

I hate to say is. But Maggie Thomas is the worst art teacher I have ever had. She does NOT know how to explain anything! I felt that I knew more about the subject matter than she did. For example, she was explaining 2-point perspective, something which I already know about, and half the class was totally confused. It's not that difficult of a concept, yet she managed to make it confusing. Also, she expects all the art work to be a certain way. She doesn't like illustration, comic-book art, or anything other than fine art. It wouldn't hurt to teach illustration, would it? I mean, we aren't all going to make it as painters... I happen to like illustration personally. Furthurmore, when we were doing teacher evaluations, she picked her favorite student (teacher's pet) to handle the evaluations, and that girl read every single one of them, and I'm pretty sure she threw out the negative ones. Maggie Thomas is also very unapproachable, and she kind of has this pretentious way of putting down other student's work.
