This professor is really nice, she is kind and very approachable. Students need to read the cases before attending class, or you will have nothing to say and won't get your participation points. Another reason to be prepare for the cases is to give your 2-cents in class or you will be bored out of your mind sitting in your seat listening to the discussion.
Grade break-down: - Class Participation 25% - Case #1 20% - Case #2 20% - Group Project 35%
The cases are individual and 5-page maximum, students will have no trouble as long as they follow her outline handout. The group project is simple as well, only if you have group members that know what they are doing. The project paper is worth 30%, while the presentation is 5%. The best thing about her is that she grades every paper on a curve, this will help students avoid some stress of worrying about the grade. Getting a B in her class is no problem as long as you do all the work and participate, but getting an A will require a little bit more effort.
Overall, I think she is a good teacher with a lot of information to fill her students' minds. Beside the papers and lots of readings, the class is kind of layback as well. If you need something light-medium, give this a consideration.

She is so cute!!!!:) I think she is also a good teacher. We had a lot of speakers during the semester and all of them were very interesting. I relly like Ana because she has a good sense of humor, very generous as well as very intellegent and communicative. I would like to take her class again if i need too.... I would recommend her classses to everyone. I think she is quite a sweetheart!!!!!

What a GREAT professor!!! She is one of my favorite teachers at state. She makes the material very easy to understand, and the tests aren't hard at all. There are 3 tests, all multiple choice, 2 one page article responses and you take part in 2 surveys-extremely easy-credit just for going. Best of all the class is curved. Definitely take this class- well worth your time!

An extremly good teacher and therefore an easy class. Even though she has a thick Spanish accent you wouldn't believe how clear all of the lectures are. I don't even think she needs office hours, you learn everything in class. To get an "A" simply show up in each class(attendance counts),listen and go over certain topics (she will tell which ones)in the book right the day before the exam. If you have to take IBus330 definitely take Ms.Valenzuela's class!!!!

This was a really nice, patient, and easy teacher. The lectures were very clear and she even has the slides available online. Plus the tests were not that hard as is, but she still curved them. I think its because shes a new teacher so shes really easy and kind. She just started teaching at sf state and dont know if shes going to stay there. If you can pick her, do so. Most people didnt show up that much and still passed her class fine.
