Mrs Waldman is extremely open to anyone and everyone who wants to share their real life experiences or opinions about the book or lecture. She just wants everyone to feel comfortable in her class and likes people to share.
She's extremely lenient in her grading system. I probably should have recieved a B+, but with all the extra credit she offers throughout the semester, my grade went up a whole letter grade.
You will watch lots of videos, and she brings snacks to munch on during those programs (though it could have just been a thing for the summer session) and has several out of class assignments that aren't in the least boring. They were actually some of the best out-of-class activities I've ever had. She was a wonderful teacher who offered massive amounts of info, especially since it was a summer class--it seemed like a lot, but if you read, which is a MUST in order to do well, and if you regularly attend the classes, you will do fine.
