Waldron is an outstanding teacher. I had her as a teacher in Spring 2000 so this review is well behind. She truly has an in-depth knowledge of labor relations and labor history though. You could sense it from the way she discusses them in class. This is among a few classes that I took where I still retain the majority of information that I learned. Waldron is a no-nonsense teacher, yet she's very soft spoken and easy to talk to as well. I really enjoyed her class. I'm not sure if she's still affiliated with SFSU due to her full time involvement in labor movements, but if she's still around, do not miss her class. Trust me.

This was a fascinating class, with an experienced and interesting teacher. She is actually a union organizer who teaches on the side, so her knowledge of the subject is first-hand, not academic. She's full of interesting stories and trivia, and is great at leading class discussions and making the classes interactive and lively.
