This teacher represents why the dotcom era went down along with the economy. His lectures are boring, barely anyone shows up to class since he doesn't take roll. All you need to do is show up to class to take the tests and turn in hwk during the labs. So far in this semester, the whole ISYS 263 class has only taken one midterm and an excel test in the lab period that is full of shit. OUr 1st midterm got cancelled twice due to the school's server crashing when people took the test online. If it happened once, why do it again online? therefore he lacks much needed common sense. This class does not reflect the knowledge that one would have of a computer's function, but rather emphasizes those who would be computer science majors. THe online excel test is ridiculous and the homework grading policy is horrible, he's picky as hell, no wonder all those computer geeks are pricks. I personally am a business major, therefore this nonsense does not pertain to my major at all. The school just puts this class in the business course to make students pay more money and stay longer at school. If possible try to take this class at some other school preferably City College or Skyline. from what i've heard it's so much easier over there than at this school.
