Dr. Williams can come off abrasive if you weren't used to him.
In fact, he seems to know alot about the fields of counseling.
His style is very lecture, you take notes, you get tested. But what makes it interesting is that he is very charismatic and he engages the students. There was very little interaction between students. It is unfortunate because it is a large class and this could have been an opportunity to get to know each other and the faculty really well.
This is as mucha review of Dr. Williams as it is the class it self.
In the future, perhaps the class might be better served by:
2 hour whole group (team teaching) 1 hour small discussion group with a person in the faculty in a time that the students and the instructors agree opun or even that the instructor has set up.
