((CHIN 101-03 spring 2000))
1.Mr. Yang does need some more practice on his handwriting to approve his profession. From his handwriting, it's hard to believe that he is good at Chinese. 2.Mr.Yang's instruction was not clear and different from the master teacher, Mrs. Cheng. As for students, we have difficulties to follow his instruction. 3.Mr. Yang was NICE, but seemed be nice just female students, especially Japanese female students in this class. Fortunately, we still had Mrs. Cheng for all students. 4.Mr. Yang had better spend more time preparing for the class rather than arranging activities outside classroom, such as karaoke. It seemed that he was eager to show his singing skills not instructing skills.
Hopeful this program, Chinese, can find more qualified candidates for recruitment before putting them in the classroom, especially this kind of teachers. Also, this class costs 5-unit tuition fee!!! Gee!!! For international students at SFSU, it costs around $1250.
