Alex Yuen

Alex is a good teacher since his lectures flow very well with the use of transparent slides. He is strict on the exams because he doesn't allow students to bring in their own calculator and he has 2 proctors supervising the exam in order to prevent cheating. Instead he loans you a calculator. The exams are doable if you study the lectures and do the homework but you have to really study for the final because there are a few tricky questions. He is very clear on the key topics to focus on for the exam and he provides 66 handouts for the summer section which is a great study guide for students. He provides good humor to spice up the class which made the summer section worth it.
