Rob is the man!

Rob is a young teacher who can relate to college students. He made our small class a fun experience where we learned a lot. Earning an A on a paper is difficult, but Rob helps out a ton. He will proofread all of your rough drafts and give insightful comments. He challenges all his students to learn and work hard. Take Mr. Yung if you want to become a better writer, have a good time, and work hard for a good grade.

Rob Yung is Awsome!!!!

When I first entered Rob Yung's class I could already tell from his demeanor that he wanted to make us as comfortable as possible and that he really wanted to get to know us and to teach us what I thought to be his passion, English. Rob is a very nice guy and doesn't set up his class as rigid, cold, and structured as one might think an English class would be. He explains himself very very well and really helps us on our questions and doesn't make anyone feel bad about asking a question (he won't say things like "You should already know that. Why are you wasting my time?"). His notes on our essays are very helpful and truly help us on our papers in becoming better writers. If you don't like English you should take his class because he might make you a better writer (he made me a better one) and might make you appreciate English a little bit more. He's got a very good way in teaching us how to become better writers. He'll give us new ways in writing sentences and paragraphs by teaching us new paragraph and sentence structures and he'll have us implement them in our essays and give us work sheets on how to make us better in them. Rob Yung is a great person and a wonderful teacher and the fact that he was let off really ticked my off and that the school should rehire him immediately because he is a very valuable asset to the school and it's students.

Rob's the man!

I must admit, Rob is an excellent English teacher. For one thing, he's really laid back and down-to-earth. He takes interest in his students and befriends them. This makes the English class atmosphere very relaxed (Although, sometimes I have felt slightly intimidated by him). He explains his ideas well; heading straight to the point. Rob's main objective is to help students form opinions about various issues and teach them how to clearly express their feelings on paper. One thing I admire in his personality, is that he's not judgemental. You're able to write and speak what you feel, free from argument. He makes good comments on returned essays and you'll easily learn how to write better from them. Rob's always willing to help you out. I have to say English was my favorite class this semester!

An Awesome Teacher!

I know many people HATE English classes, but Rob could probably make you change your mind. Ok, I'm exaggerating. But I really like this teacher because he's such a friend. He respects everyone, and he tries to make the class flexible so that it can meet everyone's needs. Rob just doesn't try to give you the elements of writing, he explains it like from a friend to a friend. I usually don't like to contact teachers outside of class, but his kindness just makes me feel comfortable emailing him and asking him for suggestions about my paper whenever I need help. If writing papers stresses you out, take Rob's class. Though you may not like writing, you'll enjoy his teaching. And because he explains things so well that you actually understand what he's teaching you. You'll learn a lot from him. He really cares about his student's progress and he gives NO pressure. Just remember this: he's more than just a teacher, he's a friend.
