I tried asking her for advice about my electives on advisor day...she didn't give me advice at all. My emphasis was production, which was supposedly her emphasis too. She basically said "take whatever class you want, and I'll sign it when you come see me 2 semester before you graduate"

Despite her trouble with pronouncing things...she is a good teacher. You should have no problem understanding what she's saying if you read what you're supposed to read, which isn't that much...and her accents not THAT hard to understand anyway. Her tests aren't very difficult and there wasn't any homework except for one project we had to do with a partner. She is very nice and has command of her students, at least in my class she did. If you're not sure who to take, she's not that bad at all.

Dr. Zhang was always well-prepared for this seminar. Although we only had 5 students in our class we had some lively class discussions. Dr. Zhang assigned some readings and allowed us the freedom to choose many of own readings and then share them with the class.
